Give Me A Break

One of the challenges of working at home is keeping regular work hours and personal time. It is super easy for me to do my day job work, and then jump into blog stuff for Hacking Salt. One challenge I have each day is actually taking breaks. I can all too easily get sucked in to working straight through a day, but that is not healthy for my heart. It also isn’t good for my PTSD.

One of the systems my Therapist gave me to help prevent any PTSD issues is to take actual breaks throughout the day. 15 to 30 minutes of doing zero work related things. one way to motivate myself to do so is with a reward. Usually it is a nice cup of coffee and a couple of biscuits or treats. These cookies fit the bill.

A Review Of Pumpkin Spice Milanos – A Low Sodium Treat

If you have never had Milano Cookies, they are two oval shaped hard biscuit cookies with a cream filling. The most popular are their Chocolate Mint ones. The Pumpkin Spice Milano cookies are fairly mild with the pumpkin spice flavor. There is a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg in the biscuit with a pumpkin chocolate cream filling.

The cookies are only 20 mg each with a recommended serving of 2 cookies for 40 mg. They are a great little treat during this fall season. I can substitute a key lime coconut treat when the season is different. Any which way you choose it makes for a great break in my day.

Yes, but they are seasonal, so I don’t know how long they will be in stock. Their other flavors are the same nutritionally. I also like their chocolate mint ones.
